Five-Nine Data Center Branding
Designing a modern 'tech' logo for a new data center.
Five-Nine Data Center is a company that, ‘serves the rapidly growing demand for co-location and cloud services. With their state-of-the-art operational facility, wide-range of services, and accomplished team, they aim to deliver the five-nines (99.999%) uptime that clients can trust and depend on for their business server and data storage requirements’.
Symbolizing ‘numbers’ was the challenge, in designing a logo for a data center client named for the goal of 99.999% server uptime. Creatively, this project posed the question of symbolically representing these five 9’s in a creative way.

The final design was created for a sleek, modern ‘tech’ look, and for longevity. Inspired by the ‘front grids’ on computer servers, the dot pattern of the design combined the visuals of the data center equipment, while referencing the ‘five-nine’ name of the company.
